RISE (2017)

About this project

After comparing popular music streaming websites & applications such as Spotify and Soundcloud, I designed and prototyped a new application called “RISE.” I included the positive aspects of each application and optimized user experience by incorporating new features.

The Process

I began by sketching a user flowchart of the application. From that flowchart, I selected a sample page to create a wireframe. I then designed a final high fidelity version of the screen.

Rotoscope Line Art (2018)

In addition to creating user interfaces, I enjoy making digital art during my pastime. These pieces are a part of my vector line art illustrations series created with Adobe Illustrator.

Graphic Design + Flyers

While working towards my Bachelor’s Degree, I served as the graphic designer for the University of Washington Women’s Center. Through this position, I produced my own creative event flyers and designs while following the university’s branding guidelines.

Video Editing

I am well experienced using Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing. Below is more details about this particular project.

About this video

In 2018, I went on an early fall start program to South Korea with the University of Washington. I spent a total of six weeks traveling through the country - visiting the cities of Seoul, Jeju Island, Busan, and Chuncheon. As I was curating this project, I was thinking of how I best wanted to represent my overall experience in South Korea. And with that, I decided that I wanted to create a video that quite literally shows my experience from my view – auditorily and visually.

The song playing in the background is “Flowers ft. Nori” by In Love With A Ghost. It was a song I often listened to throughout my trip to unwind and relax. I hope you all enjoy.
